Requesting Unofficial Transcripts for Distribution to 4 Year Institutions

To help with your recruit to a 4 year university, your unofficial transcripts help in their evaluation.  FERPA laws and CCCAA does not allow the distribution of these documents that pertains the student’s education records without written approval from the student.  Below are the 3 options you currently have to help you as a student athletes in your recruitment.

Option 1- Student Athlete using their phone, computer, etc. downloads your unofficial transcript from your student portal and send it directly to the non-CCCAA coach. 

Option 2- If the Student-Athlete is unable to download the transcript, you can fill out the FERPA release form.  Email vcadmission@vcccd.edu to receive the form. This form must be completed for every individual request by a non-CCCAA school. Under “Other” indicate where to send unofficial transcript. 

Option 3- You as the Student-Athlete can download a copy of the unofficial transcript and email the copy to your head coach. In the email you as the Student-Athlete must specifically state that your head coach can give the unofficial transcript to a non-CCCAA school that may want to recruit you.
