Welcome to the application for the Bachelor of Science in Applied Cyberdefense Network Operations (ACNO) at Moorpark College! This Canvas shell is used to collect application materials for Cohort 1 beginning in January 2027. Applications are due October 1, 2026.

We anticipate accepting 50 applicants into the Spring 2027 cohort. Applicants who meet minimum eligibility but not offered a spot in the first cohort will be considered for Fall 2027.

Notifications will be released to your VCCCD email November 6, 2027. We are unable to provide status updates before then.

Before Submitting Your Application:

Ensure that you have a VCCCD #900 or #901 and email address. If not, please first apply to Moorpark College using Cybersecurity A.S. as your intended major (Cyberdefense B.S. is not yet in the state system). Once you have your VCCCD number and email and have activated your VCCCD portal, please return to this Canvas shell to complete your B.S. application. Please note that it may take multiple days to receive your VCCCD number/email from CCCApply.

This application is for a 2-year Upper Division Bachelor Degree program. It assumes that you have already completed (or are near completion of) the required technical lower division courses as well as your General Education transfer pattern. The Cyberdefense program is fully online, though students may attend a hybrid lab in-person if they choose.

To Be a Competitive Candidate, You Will Need:

60 units of college credit
Overall Cumulative GPA: 2.5
Completion of the 6 Technical Courses below with a "C" or better.
